\About the position: Blissfulstills seeks a videographer | photographer to join their Team in capturing the magical moments that are so important to a successful wedding experience. We are a small business that values, above all, our clients and their vision for their special day. Our photographers and videographers hold complex, varied skills, and bring their expertise to the table.

This is a freelance/contract position on an as-needed basis. Prior to each project, there will be extensive communication between you and the Blissfulstills leadership team to ensure that your understanding of the video needs are in line with the clients’ wishes and with the policies of Blissfulstills. 

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating shoots with multiple cameras

• Maintaining close collaboration with venue staff and wedding planners

• Management and transportation of videography equipment

• Visiting event venues and determining the most optimal conditions for filming

• Maintaining discretion and a friendly demeanor when filming clients and guests

Requirements for candidates of this position:

• Must be adept and comfortable with Sony-shooting

• Experience in 3-camera videography

• Has had 2+ years prior experience as an event videographer

• Experience in working with diverse populations

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to bring their own gear is preferred; if not possible, then must have ability to loan out gear

Note that no editing experience is required in order to apply for this position.

Compensation for this position is $60/hour on an as-needed basis. This position will require travel within the NYC area and occasional travel within the Tri-State area. All travel expenses will be reimbursed.
